PETER C. BAZOS graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and upon graduation, was elected to the Order of the Coif (a legal honor society). He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in the same year. Mr. Bazos then practiced business and securities law in Chicago for two years before moving his practice to Elgin in 1975, where he has practiced ever since.
Mr. Bazos served as the Chair of the Kane County Bar Association's Real Estate Practice Committee for over 16 years and has lectured in the areas of commercial real estate, mechanics liens, and corporate governance. He also served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Elgin Academy (an independent school) and as its General Counsel for over 10 years. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Illinois for 6 years.
Mr. Bazos concentrates his practice in the areas of land use, zoning and development, commercial real estate, real estate syndications, construction law and mechanics liens, and business and transactional law.
